Aldo Zilli has opened this Brasserie in Brighton, to coincide with the launch of his new hotel. The brasserie is simply decorated with a busy, open kitchen, wooden floors and plush banquettes. Zilli is famous for his devotion to seafood, which features strongly on the menu, yet there is plenty for vegetarians and confirmed carnivores alike. Fish-lovers ought not pass up the chance to try blackened cod marinated in mirin, teriyaki and sesame oil, served with banana leaves and stir-fried vegetables, while veal Milanese will equally delight meat eaters.
