In Copenhagen, you will find this exceptional garden restaurant by the small gardens close to the Castle of Frederiksberg, outside the ramparts on outer Christianshavn. Ravelinen was built in 1728 and was previously a tollhouse. Nowadays, the interior is obviously cosier, whilst the view of the moat is as magnificent as ever. In the kitchen, emphasis is placed on the welfare of the animals from our suppliers. Several of the raw materials used are organic and are sourced from within Denmark as often as possible. Not because it necessarily makes the product better, but because it reduces the energy used in transportation. The most important commodity to the restaurant is the chefs.
