For the past decade, Edwinns in Fareham has occupied an imposing Georgian building on Fareham High Street, originally built in 1767 as a Naval Officer's house, and then latterly a gentleman's club. With its magnificent circular bay windows, perfectly proportioned rooms, an elegant hallway and a sweeping staircase, much of the original charm and character of the building remains. The restaurant offers a Summer Terrace menu with light bites and summer snacks, perfect for enjoying on the patio by the beautiful walled garden. You can also enjoy Sunday lunch here with three exquisite courses, including a choice of two traditional roasts. Edwinns has established a first class reputation for its superb ambience, pleasant service and excellent food, based on modern European and British cuisine. Local favourites are the Tempura Prawns, Herb Crusted Lamb Rump, and Baked Alaska to share. ...weniger
