Named after the Indian town of Deolali (which gave us the phrase 'going doolally'), this handsome restaurant serves subcontinental cuisine to go mad about. Set within the former Architectural Antiques building in Moseley, the multi-level dining space is full of vaulted beams, exposed brickwork and chunky wood tables, with a bar at the front and huge mirrored walls. Food ranges from tangy curry favourites to house specials such as tandoori trout and ghustabba (lean lamb meatballs in a sweet and spicy tomato sauce), while the whole place buzzes with a chatty, easygoing crowd. ...weniger bearbeiten
