Fancy a taste of the Croatian Adriatic? There may well be a credit-crunch on, but you don’t need to grab a flight – just pop on down to Café Adriatic in Cambridge’s Mill Road. The owner, Dubo Jelicic, has brought the best of Croatian cuisine with him, focusing on freshly prepared food to spread the message for him. In simple but stylish surroundings, you can enjoy dishes such as marinated octopus with potatoes and cannellini beans, lamb cutlets with garden-pea risotto and linguini with cuttlefish, chilli, white wine and parsley.
